2023 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Scarecrow needs a little swirling before it erupts from the glass with powerful notes of cassis, juicy black plums, and black raspberries, plus suggestions of clove oil, underbrush, red licorice, and violets, plus a touch of forest floor. The full-bodied palate is rich and opulent with spice-laced black fruit preserves and a firm, velvety texture, finishing with great length and just enough freshness. Drinking Window: 2028-2058

2023 Scarecrow M. Etain Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2023 M. Etain is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, 5% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot. It charges out with exuberant notes of blackcurrant pastilles and boysenberry preserves, followed by hints of licorice, Sichuan pepper, sassafras, and tilled soil. The full-bodied palate is dense with vibrant black and blue fruit layers, supported by firm yet velvety tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long and earthy. Drinking Window: 2027-2044
